Get Rid of Cellulite at Home

A few tips before we get to the body wrap recipe. To get the most of your at home spa experience, make sure you take the time to set up the little things that make visiting the spa so special. Candles, aromatherapy, essential oils, nice hot or cold drink, magazines and soft music.... this will really help you get the most of your at home spa treatment. Okay lets get to the body wrap recipe!

Homemade Body Wrap Recipe

  • 2 cups of Clay
  • 1 cup of Epsom or Sea Salt
  • 4 tablespoons of Olive Oil
  • 4 cups of water
This is a basic recipe, and you can add dried kelp, herbs like lavender or lemon balm, the choices are endless. Here is what you do. Bring your water to a boil on the stove in a large pot. Once boiling add the sea salt or epsom salts and allow them to dissolve. Turn your water off and add all your other ingredients. You should have a clay that is a good consistency that can be easily spread on the body. If it is too stiff, add a little more water.

Now you needs strips or wrapping material handy. You can use old towels or sheets cut into strips that can be washed and reused. This is one of the most economical ways to do an at home body wrap. You can also buy wrapping material, but the result will not be any better.

Off to your little at home spa oasis you created earlier and let the body wrap begin. start with the legs and work your way up, applying the body wrap and wrapping as you go. Once you are done it is time to sit back and relax with a good book or soothing music. Allow your wrap to stay in place 30 minutes or longer. Once done, unwrap and into the shower you go. Just like at the spa! You will love the glow your skin takes on after your at home body wrap, and as for your cellulite, you will be amazed at the results. Body wraps work wonders on diminishing the appearance of cellulite.
